The total number of times your podcast audio files have been started for playback. This counts each unique HTTP request to begin or resume audio playback from your audience.
The average percentage of your podcast that listeners consumed before stopping. This metric shows listener engagement - higher percentages indicate more engaged audiences.
The number of different countries where your podcast was accessed. Based on listener IP addresses (Cloudflare geo-location data).
The country where your podcast receives the most listens. Shows your primary audience region.
A "Start" is recorded every time a user's browser makes an HTTP request to download audio content from our CDN gateway.
Tracking Method: Server-side via Cloudflare Analytics Engine
For each start, we measure how many bytes of audio were transferred:
Completion % = (bytes_served / total_file_size) × 100
Shows how many times each podcast version was started. This allows you to compare performance across different file formats or episodes.
Your analytics data is collected automatically at the CDN level with no additional setup required.
